Student Center, Xianlin New Campus of Nanjing University

The new Student Center is built in the new Xianlin campus, Nanjing University，designed by Preston Scott Cohen, the Dean of Architecture Department, Harvard University. We completed the most functional spaces including entrance hall, two theaters, lecture hall, multi-function hall, music bar, and other public spaces. Since the existing architecture presents the irregular shape and variety of spatial form, we made an effort to keep the basic architecture ideology and to maximize the spatial feature by minimal interior language. Meanwhile we intended to make relaxed and hot environment atmosphere by interior approaches involving form, color, material and equipment coordination.
